Artificer Apprentices (Indian Navy Sailor)
Indian Navy Artificer Apprentices exam acronym as INA is conducted twice a year generally in the month of June and December. The examination is carried out by the Navy for unmarried Indian male citizens. The major responsibilities of the Artificer include management of men in addition to the technical challenges of operation and maintaining some of the most complex systems and sophisticated equipment.
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with Science and Maths with 65% marks or 60% or more aggregate marks in 10+ 2 or equivalent examination with Science and Maths.
- Age Limit: Aspiring candidate should be between the age group of 15 to 18 years
- Nationality: Applicant should be a resident Indian. The Gorkhas, subjects of Nepal, are also eligible to apply for AA Recruitment
Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of entrance examination. Candidates who manage to clear the written exam are then called to appear for the Physical Fitness Test. And only those who qualify Physical Fitness Test are taken for Medical Examination. Candidates selected will undergo nine weeks’ Basic Training at INS Chilka followed by Professional training in the allotted trade at various Naval Training Establishments.
