Broomball
Broomball is a recreational ice game which was said to be developed in Canada. It is now play worldwide. It can be played in an outdoor or indoor ice hockey rink, it depends on the weather. Broomball a team sport similar to ice-hockey, played with a broom shaped stick on an ice surface without skates.
Broomball is played by two teams with six players each team. The six players consist of a goaltender and five others. Just like hockey, the game involves scoring goals. These goals are scored by hitting the ball into the opposing team's goal using the broom. Most of the techniques, styles, tactics, and plays are similar to ice hockey, roller hockey, and floorball. The players use a broom.
This broom can have a wooden or aluminum shaft, it also has a rubber-molded triangular head which is similar in shape to a broom used for cleaning. Instead of skates, the players wear special rubber-soled shoes. They also wear a full face cage, and also thing padding on the legs, thighs, chest, and shoulders. One broomball game is broken up in either two or three periods.
